Following last night game between Washington and the Giants it seems that Washington middle linebacker Keenan Robinson had a run in with a drunk driver. Robinson tweeted out late last night that he and his family were hit by an oncoming car driven by a drunk driver. It appears the accident occurred on Robinson’s drive home after the game.

NBC is reporting that the accident happened around midnight last night when Robinson’s Chevy Suburban was hit by a Maryland resident that has since been charged for DUI and arrested after he failed a field sobriety test as well as refused to take a breathalyzer test. Robinson tweeted out this late last night after the accident:
I thank you father God for protecting me and my family and keeping us safe tonight. A drunk driver hit us and almost wiped us out

Luckily it does seem that neither Robinson himself, or anyone in his family was seriously injured or harmed in the accident. This morning at around 10am Keenan Robinson tweeted out the following letting us know that everyone in his family was unharmed in the accident.
Me and the family are doing Great. No one was harmed in the accident. Thank you guys for the concern. God is good all the time
