Jeter was already due for a light workload in his final series as a big league player, as the Yankees planned to use him as a designated hitter after giving him the night off on Friday. Now it sounds like Jeter might have his season cut short by a game after he tweaked his hamstring beating out an infield single on Saturday.
According to Bob Klapisch, manager Joe Girardi thinks Jeter will be out on Sunday.
Jeter disagrees.
What are we worried about here? Re-injury? Do the right thing and get Jeter in that lineup tomorrow.
