Detroit Tigers celebrate AL Central victory (GIF)

The Detroit Tigers rode the arm of left-hander David Price to a 3-0 shutout win against the Minnesota Twins, sealing the team’s fourth straight American League Central championship. And unlike the past three years, there was some drama involved, as the Tigers needed all 162 games to hold off the Kansas City Royals from seizing the crown.

After the Tigers’ 90th win of the season secured the division — and a trip straight to the American League Divisional Series, where Detroit will head east to face the Baltimore Orioles — the team stopped to enjoy another division championship. There were more than a few memorable moments from Detroit’s clinching celebration, here’s a choice sampling of the best:
