The lackluster day for the San Francisco 49ers continues. First they had a blocked punt that ended up as a touchdown for the Eagles, and they then got burned by Malcolm Jenkins on an interception return.

Jenkins picked off Colin Kaepernick for his third straight game with an interception, making him the first Eagle to accomplish that feat since Brian Dawkins in 2004.
The Eagles took a 14-10 lead with this return, and it also gave them as many touchdowns on defense or special teams as they have first downs on offense. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one impressed with Jenkins’ return:
I am obsessed with Malcolm Jenkins. He's unbelievable. Three straight games with an interception. Fourth career touchdown.

Malcolm Jenkins has a share of the league lead in INTs.

That gives Jenkins a career high in interceptions with three, and the season is only a quarter over!
