Morris laid on the ground for a bit before getting up and trying to walk, but he was visibly wobbly and at one point an offensive lineman catches him to keep him from falling. His other teammates called for the training staff as Morris attempted to wave them off.
He gets back in the huddle and calls the play and lines back up when he appeared visibly concussed. With the focus on concussions on the NFL everyone is particularly vigilant of players risking their health when concussed.
The announcers calling the game ripped Hoke for Morris staying in the game, and it being another passing play putting himself at risk again.
When asked, Hoke had didn’t really have any kind of convincing answer, via the Detroit Free Press:
"“I did not see it. I can only answer for me.”When asked about a possible concussion, Hoke did not address it specifically.“I don’t know if he had a concussion or not,” Hoke said. “Shane’s a pretty tough kid and Shane wanted to be the quarterback. Believe me, if he didn’t want to be, he would have come to the sideline, or stayed down.”"
Response was obviously negative and Hoke was ripped for his actions.

But the evidence was pretty convincing.
