Panthers fan wears blood and guts shirt (Photo)
After comments by Steve Smith that there’s ‘going to be blood and guts everywhere’ at Sunday’s Panthers-Ravens game, one Carolina Panthers fan took it a bit too far.
This fan put something red all over his Carolina Panther’s shirt, cut through the abdomen part of the shirt which revealed an animation of intestines underneath. The fan also wore goggles, something Smith said to wear in preparation for the inevitable splattering of blood and guts.
"“I want to make sure that whatever team I go to, they’re going to get the best, in-shape 35-year-old guy they can get. If that happens to run through Bank of America Stadium, put your goggles on cause there’s going to be blood and guts everywhere,” Smith said."
Panthers running back D’Angelo Williams responded to those comments Thursday.
Steve Smith arrived to the stadium this morning wearing a hat that read, “I heart Haters.” Continuing his charade against his former team.
The Panthers (2-1) travel to Baltimore (2-1) for a key inter-conference game Sunday. Baltimore is favored by 3.5 points and we’ll see if any bad blood boils over between Smith and his former team.
