The Philadelphia Eagles never seem to wear down on the field and they are always pushing the pace with Chip Kelly’s high-flying attack, but the team could look a little slower on Sunday afternoon when they take on the San Francisco 49ers.

It will not be a change of gameplan that leads to the Eagles looking slower on the field, but simply a lack of sleep.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the fire alarm at the hotel where the Philadelphia Eagles are staying went off at 2 a.m. local time.

That doesn’t sound pleasant for anyone involved.

Who knows, maybe there was some 49ers fan out there who was looking for a way to give his team the extra leg up.

The good news for Philadelphia, however, is that they do not play until the late afternoon game so they will have a little bit of extra time to sleep in.
