Texans’ Arian Foster expected to play?
By Mike Dyce
Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is a game-time decision for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. For Fantasy Football owners it could be daunting trying to decide whether or not to play Foster, but according to the Houston Chronicle he is expected to play.
"Foster is still a game-time decision, but don’t be surprised if he plays.…The Texans were wise to keep Foster out of the Giants game rather than risk him aggravating his hamstring and costing him more playing time. He was limited in practice for the second week in a row. He was very close to playing against the Giants. If he plays, he might not have the heavy-duty workload of the first two games when he carried a league-high 55 times for 241 yards, which still ranks as the fifth-highest total in the league even though he sat out the last game."
The issue though is that a less than 100 percent Arian Foster will be going up against what has been a pretty stout run defense this season. The Bills are giving up 83 yards per game on average, a mark that is fifth best amongst the defenses in the NFL.
That means Foster could not put up his usual numbers and he might not be worth the risk anyways.
