Titans’ Jake Locker will not start against the Colts in Week 4
By Mike Dyce
The Tennessee Titans will be without quarterback Jake Locker under center. The oft-injured quarterback is once again battling injuries after hurting his wrist in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Locker tried to practice this week and was able to do very little, given that lack of ability the coaching staff thought it’d be safer to start Charlie Whitehurst in his place.
You’d think Locker would still be in doubt for Week 5 as well, though there is a whole week of rehabilitation ahead of that contest.
Whitehurst isn’t the most reliable back up in the league, but given Locker’s play over the past two weeks there might not be that big of a drop off. The Titans will try to rely on the run game and Whitehurst will do a lot of checking down in his progressions.
If you’re a fantasy football player and have Shonn Greene on your roster it might be worth starting him.
