After playing in only 10 games last season before having surgery to repair a torn meniscus and missing the entire season before that as he recovered from ACL surgery suffered in the playoffs, the former league MVP realized he will have to face questions about his health as long as he’s playing.

Rose won’t have to return to the form he showed earlier in his career when he led the Chicago Bulls to the best record in the NBA and was named the youngest MVP in league history after the addition of Pau Gasol, Nikola Mirotic and drafting of Doug McDermott.
