The return to top health of Chicago Bulls point guard and former NBA MVP has many believing the Bulls can be the top challenger to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals this season.

Rose met the media along with his teammates and coaches as the Bulls had their media day on Monday and said he knows he will have to address questions about his health for the rest of his career, but he also said he’s confident in his health and his old and new teammates, including Pau Gasol.
The addition of the former Los Angeles Lakers power forward and two-time NBA champion has Rose believing he is close to winning his first NBA title.
DRose: "I know I'm going to win a championship soon. So I'm not worried about that."

DRose: "I just want to be healthy. I could care less about the awards. I just want to win games. My biggest goal is just winning a (title)."

The path to an NBA title got a lot more difficult with James joining Kyrie Irving in Cleveland where they later traded for All-Star forward Kevin Love and the Miami Heat won’t fade away completely with the loss of James with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh still in South Beach, but a healthy Rose will make for a compelling season to say the least.
