The North Carolina State Wolfpack gave the Florida State Seminoles a hard fought battle in their game on Saturday afternoon in Raleigh, but ultimately fell to the No. 1 team in the country after blowing a 24-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.

NC State head coach Dave Doeren attributed the momentum shift to Florida State faking injuries.
"“The tempo we had (in the first quarter) was working until all the crazy fall down things were going on and the clock kept stopping,” Doeren said on Saturday. “You know the refs can’t do anything about that, but it’s horrible the way the tempo gets slow downed by these injuries. We went fast in the first quarter, I guess there were no fake injuries.”"
Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher wasn’t about to let this comment go without chiming in with his two cents.
“I accuse him of not knowing what he’s talking about,” Fisher said via the Orlando Sentinel. “We did not fake injuries, no one fakes injuries. We’ll coach Florida State, he can coach North Carolina State.”
