Ndamukong Suh rumors: Bears, Cowboys expected to make run at Lions’ All-Pro
Adam Schefter dropped a nugget at the end of Monday’s episode of NFL Insiders on ESPN about the future of Ndamukong Suh with the Detroit Lions and where he could end up if the Lions aren’t successful in extending him.

Suh is in the final year of his rookie contract he signed after the Lions made him the No. 2 pick in the 2010 NFL Draft and the team has broken off contract talks and Schefter picks it up from there.
‘It certainly sounds like he’s preparing to leave and the Lions are prepared to have him leave. They’ve already broken off contract talks this season and the franchise tag will be too pricey.” … “His future in Detroit is murky at best.”
The Lions could always change their tune and give Suh a one-year franchise tender but that would be worth $26.7 million. Lions general manager Martin Mayhew said in July they won’t rule it out.
So where could Suh play his football next season?
“Wouldn’t be surprising to Chicago or Dallas make a run at him,” Schefter said.
The Chicago Bears invested two draft picks in defensive tackles in the 2014 draft and the Dallas Cowboys signed Henry Melton in the offseason, but if Suh is available, you can bet both of those teams would be suitors for the All-Pro defensive tackle.
