The Phoenix Suns entered the offseason with a lot of questions.

More from NBA

They lost Channing Frye, a sharp-shooting big man, to the Orlando Magic, who signed him to a four-year, $32 million deal. They replaced Frye with Anthony Tolliver, who isn’t as good of a player as Frye, but is a another big who can knock down outside shots. They also acquired point guard Isaiah Thomas and his new four-year, $28 million deal from the Sacramento Kings.

After a long standstill, they agreed to a five-year, $70 million deal with guard Eric Bledsoe. Now, they are looking to re-sign two more players before they can become restricted free agents in 2015 – the Morris twins, Markieff and Marcus.

Per a report, the two are close to signing extensions.

According to Marc Stein of ESPN.com, the brothers will ink four-year deals worth $52 million (Stein is unsure of the exact split).

As Stein pointed out, the Suns have until October 31 to work out deals with the twins or they will become restricted free agents next offseason.

Last season, Markieff Morris averaged 13.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.8 steals per game while shooting 48.6% from the field, 31.5% from beyond the arc and 79.2% from the free throw line. Morris, who was originally selected by the Suns with the 13th-overall pick in the first round of the 2011 NBA Draft, has averaged 10.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.8 steals per game while shooting 44.0% from the floor, 33.3% from three and 76.4% from the charity stripe. Marcus Morris went for 9.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game while shooting 44.2% from the field, 38.1% from three and 76.1% from the free throw line. The 14th-overall pick of the 2011 draft has put up 8.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game while shooting 42.7% from the field, 36.7% from downtown and 68.0% from the charity stripe.
