The Michigan Wolverines are in a really bad spot at the moment as the team is imploding on the field and things aren’t much better off it either. Brady Hoke is on the hot seat and may not even finish out the season, while his boss in the athletic department may be on his way out too.

According to Pete Roussel, Michigan is looking into two different athletic directors to possibly replace incumbent Dave Brandon.

"A source has informed CoachingSearch.com that Michigan has gauged the interest of UConn director of athletics Warde Manuel and Boston College athletic director Brad Bates about their interest in the same position at Michigan."

There has been a lot of criticism of Brandon for making Michigan too much of a corporate environment, but that’s a bogus thing to get angry about. The man was the CEO of Domino’s Pizza, and Michigan knew exactly who they were inviting into bed when they gave Brandon the job.

Now that the football team is no good, both Brandon and Hoke will suffer the consequences but their failure has more to do with not knowing how to run a program than it does running one with too much corporate flare.
