Former NFL tight end and current CBS commentator Shannon Sharpe is apparently not a fan of Saturday Night Live’s Jay Pharoah.

The NFL legend ripped the comic for what he deemed a “horrible” impression during SNL’s season opener last Saturday.

Pharoah impersonated Sharpe during the program’s opening skit, which poked fun at the NFL for its many recent controversies.

Sharpe played 14 seasons in the NFL, 12 with the Denver Broncos and two with the Baltimore Ravens, before retiring in 2003. Sharpe won three Super Bowls and posted more than 800 receptions, 10,000 receiving yards and 60 touchdowns in his career.

He was inducted as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
