My college football top 25 for week 6 2014

There were a few upsets again this week, so some shuffling was bound to happen in my top 25. Here is my poll from last week for reference purposes.

More from College Football Odds

1. Oregon: Honestly, no one looks invincible right now. The top five are practically interchangeable.

2. Auburn: The win in Manhattan is still worth a lot at this point of the season.

3. Florida State: The only reason that they are still here is because Alabama and Oklahoma were off.

4. Alabama: Someone’s defense will have to step up big to stop the Tide from rolling through the SEC

5. Oklahoma: They better come ready for TCU.

6. Baylor: So much for a trap game….

7. Texas A&M: They really should have lost that game. It shows a lot of guts coming back down 14 in the fourth though.

8. Mississippi State: The SEC schedule begins in earnest this week.

9. Mississippi: The Rebels are 4-0 for the first time since 1970. The fans have waited a loooooong time for this!

10. Michigan State: They are destroying some below average teams, which not all teams ahead of them can say. That counts for something, I guess.

11. UCLA: That is the Bruins team that everyone expected to see. What a show!

12. Notre Dame: That defense is very tough right now.

13. Georgia: They had their hands full against Tennessee again, but they did manage to win.

14. USC: They looked like a different team against an Oregon State team that usually gives them trouble.

15. Stanford: Big road win over an improving Washington team.

16 LSU: The offense looked like a different animal with Harris under center.

17. Wisconsin: Looked apathetic at best in the first half against USF.

18: Nebraska: Being the only undefeated team in the Big Ten(14) has to count for something.

19. BYU: They won’t have many opportunites to jump with that schedule, but will continue to be a top 20 mainstay.

20. Ohio State: Dear Mike Marteny: the offense is fine, but thank for your concern. Sincerely, the Ohio State Buckeyes.

21. East Carolina: At this point, I will be shocked if they don’t win the AAC.

22. Oklahoma State: Trap game in Ames awaits.

23. Clemson: Hey, they lost to two top ten teams. Why shouldn’t they be here?

24. South Carolina: I’m not sure if the schizophrenic Cocks should be here or not. Now they’re making me crazy as well!

25. TCU: They haven’t really played anyone, but they are winning at least.

Out of rankings: (18) Arizona State, (25)Duke

Honorable mention: Utah, Kansas State, Missouri, Arizona State, Arkansas
