NBA Trivia Tuesday: Two weeks away from being two weeks away

YOU GUYS: As of today we’re just two weeks away from being two weeks away from the start of the NBA season. We can make it, I promise. Keep fighting through work, keep struggling through school. Opening night will be here before we know it. But until then take a few minutes to try out some NBA quizzes for NBA Trivia Tuesday.

Let’s start with a challenge to name the Memphis Grizzlies’ all-time leaders in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. I thought this one was going to be a little tougher, but then I realized that the Grizzlies haven’t been around for too long, so most of their franchise leaders are recent players. I ended up checking in with a solid 35/50, and as always missed a few that should have been easy gets. Also, shout out Darko Milicic for sneaking onto the blocks list!

Okay, let’s switch gears and see if we know all the players to average ten or more points per game at age 38 or older. This one gave you the season and team so it wasn’t too challenging, and I came through with a nice 20/23, and you should be able to clean up on this one as well. To be honest, this is probably one of the easiest quizzes we’ve featured on Trivia Tuesday.

Here’s the last one for this week, and it’s about defense. Can you name every Defensive Player of the Year since 1982? The mid-1980s were a bit challenging, but I also wouldn’t be born for almost ten years so I’ll cut myself a break. In the end I went home with 27/32, a perfectly respectable result.

So there we have it. Turn up that new Rich Gang mixtape, and as you ascend to heaven during “Givenchy,” think about how you can do better on these quizzes the next time. We’ll see you in a week for the big midterm exam.
