For years, the Baylor Bears football program was the laughing stock of the state of Texas and the Big 12. Well as we’ve seen throughout the past couple of years, the tune has changed under Art Briles and the Bears are a perennial national contender.

Still, for as much success as Baylor has, you could never expect Texas Longhorns fans to give them the respect that they not only deserve, but have earned throughout the past few years.
Apparently, that extends to current Texas players, as well.
In a stacked weekend of college football coming up this Saturday, the Bears and the Longhorns will be facing off against one another in Austin, and wide receiver John Harris is still not impressed by his upcoming opponent.

Actually, times are changing in college football these days. Over the course of the past decade, the parity is larger than ever before, so just the name on the front of the jersey is not enough to claim superiority.
You would also have to assume that no-nonsense Texas head coach Charlie Strong was none too happy with the remarks from his wide receiver in public.
