Wolves’ Kevin Martin didn’t know Kevin Love got traded until yesterday

After LeBron James announced he was signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers, everyone’s attention shifted back to disgruntled Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love and his future. Particularly whether he’d be traded to the Cavaliers, which eventually he was.

The deal was agreed upon, but had to wait until August 23rd before being completed. It was big news in the NBA as everyone watched Cleveland assemble a new “Big Three.”
That didn’t keep some in the NBA from missing out on the news. Apparently Timberwolves’ Kevin Martin said on Monday that he had just learned teammate Kevin Love had been traded to the Cavaliers.
From Jerry Zgoda’s article in the Pioneer-Press:
"“I didn’t know Kevin Love got traded until yesterday,” Martin said with a straight face at Monday’s annual media day at Target Center that preceded a midnight start to training camp in Mankato. “I’m not big on looking at blogs and all that.”"
That must have been a shock coming into the training camps. Sure I can understand Martin avoiding blogs, but did he not turn on SportsCenter once all summer, watch the local news or anything?
