Keys to Victory
It will be crucial for Phillip Rivers and the Chargers to attack a weak Jets pass defense in this one. Rivers has been one of the very best quarterbacks in the NFL this year and he’ll need to remain at that level on Sunday. New York has done a fantastic job defending the run in 2014, so relying on Donald Brown to win this one isn’t an option. This is Rivers’ game to win.
For the Jets, slowing down San Diego’s aerial attack is a must. On the offensive side of the ball, they’ll need to hand the ball to Chris Ivory often and avoid turnovers from Geno Smith if they are to stay in this one.

Prediction
The Jets simply don’t have the offensive talent to keep up with the Chargers in this one. Rivers will throw a couple of touchdowns, Smith will throw a couple of interceptions and San Diego will take this one fairly comfortably.
Final Score: Chargers – 28 Jets -14
