The NFL will be moving the NFL Draft from New York this season, and the league has reportedly found it’s new home.
The NFL Draft is moving from New York, as the league will be likely making it a traveling circus from now on. Beyond the point of constantly moving the draft, many analysts and owners have been pondering where the NFL Draft will take place this upcoming summer.

A report surfaced on Thursday that suggested the date of the draft would move back a whole week but not location was attached to that. Later in the day though, Rand Getlin from ESPN.com reported that Chicago will be the new host of the NFL Draft this season.
The 2015 NFL Draft will be held in Chicago, per a league source.

It was down to either Chicago or Los Angeles hosting the NFL Draft this year, but Chicago makes the most sense given the current situation in the league.
While there’s nothing wrong with hosting the draft in Los Angeles, there’s no NFL team there at the moment, which means having one of the biggest weekends of the season seems a bit odd.
Meanwhile, Chicago is booming as a midway metropolis and is as popular as it has ever been. Hosting the NFL Draft there will not only help the NFL tie in the historic roots of the Chicago Bears, but will help kick off the rotation of cities to host the event with one of the most popular in the country.
What this all means now is cities will start to compete to earn the right to host the NFL Draft, just like they do with the Super Bowl. This then begs the question of what took the NFL so long to make this incredibly smart business decision?
