St. Louis Rams vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles will look to bounce back from suffering their first loss of the season last weekend against the San Francisco 49ers when they welcome in the St. Louis Rams to Lincoln Financial Field. The Rams come into this one at 1-2 on the season and were on a much-needed bye last weekend.

Keys to Victory
Eagles
As we saw last week, the Eagles struggled mightily rushing the ball in the loss to the 49ers. LeSean McCoy finished the game with 17 yards on 10 carries. That will not get it done in the Chip Kelly offense. For Foles and the receivers to have the opportunity to work the field, the rushing game for the Eagles has to get rolling, and it needs to start this week against the Rams. With St. Louis sporting the 30th-ranked rushing defense in the league, this might not be an issue.
Rams
On Wednesday Jeff Fisher announced that Austin Davis will be the starting quarterback and he will likely stay in this position moving forward. From this point on, he needs to find his rhythm and the team needs to figure out how they can configure the offense around what he brings to the table. In the loss two weeks ago to the Cowboys, he had a pretty solid outing with 327 yards, but he did throw two picks.
The time is now for Davis to definitively make this his offense, and doing so against the Eagles would be a great start.
Betting Odds
Point Spread: Eagles -7.5
Moneyline: St. Louis +250, Eagles -300
O/U: 47.5
Prediction
This could very well be a statement game for the Rams, but that’s highly unlikely. It’s going to take a bit for this Rams offense to get completely settled in with Austin Davis at the helm still.
The Eagles should be able to get that ground attack going against the Rams, finally, which should open things up tremendously. Philadelphia will put that harsh loss out in San Francisco behind them, easily.
Final Score: Eagles 27, Rams 17
