We’ve seen this in college sports before and it usually doesn’t work out. But LeBron James Jr is going to be a name that everyone pays attention to in the coming years as he’s the son of the most famous basketball player on the planet.
As we’ve seen with children of famous athletes, the bloodline doesn’t always mean duplicate success. Walter Payton Jr has a decent career at Miami but never started an NFL game despite being the son of a legend. in that same vein though, the offspring of Barry Sanders, John Stockton and even Snoop Dogg are all highly touted and looking a career in the pros — so who knows what LeBron Jr will become.
