Philadelphia 76ers have ‘bottomed out,’ are ready to spend
The Philadelphia 76ers claim they are ready to spend money
Although the Philadelphia 76ers’ record of 19-63 was not the worst mark in the NBA (that honor belonged to the 15-67 Milwaukee Bucks), by the end of the year they looked like the league’s worst team.

They continued to deal off their veterans and suffered through a 26-game losing streak.
This year, they will finally get to see the debut of the 2013 lottery pick Nerlens Noel but could be without both of their 2014 first rounders. Center Joel Embiid may miss the season due to injuries and Dario Šarić will not be playing in America for at least one more year. That has led most believe the 76ers will be the worst team in basketball this season.
Philadelphia 76ers’ co-owner Joe Harris, who spoke to Bob Cooney of The Philadelphia Daily News, the 76ers are ready to spend money to build their team.
This may be the plan eventually but it certainly doesn’t appear to be in the 2014-2015 season. Expect another long year in Philadelphia.
