Ponder had no played prior to Thursdays game this season. He finished 22-for-44 with 222 passing yards and two interceptions in the loss.

Bridgewater has thrown for 467 yards without a touchdown or interception in two games this year.

According to Zimmer, Bridgewater will return for a key division game against the 3-1 Detroit Lions.
