In the first half of Saturday’s Alabama vs Ole Miss game, a blown facemask call led to a fumble and touchdown for the Crimson Tide. After the missed call, one cameraman seemed to want to embarrass the referee who missed the call.
Just before halftime in the Alabama vs Ole Miss game on Saturday afternoon, Alabama’s Cyrus Jones forced a fumble and returned the turnover for a touchdown.
Unfortunately for Ole Miss, it was a blown call that led to the fumble.
One of the cameramen on the field was apparently unhappy with the blown call and proceeded to put his camera right in the referee’s face to snap some photos.
The little confrontation led to the CBS broadcasting team calling for the cameraman to be removed from the stadium, though there was no exact word on what was said or why the two men came face-to-face. Luckily, it was just one unprofessional cameraman trying to show up the referee and nothing escalated.
