The Arizona State Sun Devils were absolutely blown out last weekend by the UCLA Bruins. With a match up against the USC Trojans on deck for this week, and being without quarterback Taylor Kelly once again, things were not expected to get much better.

But, if we were reminded of anything during Week 6 of the college football season with all of the surprising outcomes, it’s that anything can happen, and Arizona State put their full belief in that notion at the end of the game.
Down 34-32 with time expiring on the clock, backup quarterback Mike Bercovici dropped back and let one fly to the end zone. Luckily for him, Jaelen Strong was heads up enough to be the one person in that area that remembered when his coaches told him to always get the ball at its highest point.
What an incredible effort by this Arizona State team on Saturday, especially considering that they could have just folded after what happened last week against UCLA.
Now, they’re right back in the race for the Pac-12 South, something that not a lot of people thought they could say after last weekend.
This entire weekend of college football has delivered in so many ways.
