Auburn vs LSU final score: Auburn blows out LSU at home, 41-7
By Jack Crosby
Auburn absolutely blew the doors off of LSU on Saturday
On a weekend where virtually all of the top teams in the country were knocked off and faced a reality check about how harsh a college football season can be, the Auburn Tigers had no desire to join that list. They, unlike the others, had no problem dealing with the LSU Tigers inside Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday night, winning easily, 41-7.

Quarterback Nick Marshall had an outstanding night in this one, finishing the game with 207 yards passing with two scores. He was also phenomenal with his legs in the win over their SEC West foes, rushing for 119 yards on 16 carries with two touchdowns.
One of those two scores was this 29-yard scamper that showed us all that the vaunted LSU defense is not what it used to be.
But, just like anything else, the guard changes and the Auburn Tigers are on top of the SEC West at the moment. No longer is LSU one of the feared members of the best conference in college football.
Rushing-wise, Cameron Artis-Payne was the star out of the backfield in this one, running for 126 yards on 24 carries. It seems that every week there is someone different carrying the load out of the backfield, and against LSU, it was Artis-Payne that shined.
Sammie Coates had a great day catching passes from Marshall, tallying 144 yards on just four catches with one score.
When it was all said and done in Auburn, the Tigers had racked up 566 yards of total offense on the LSU defense, something that not maybe a lot of people saw coming.
Next week, Auburn will face their toughest test of the season, undoubtedly, as they will take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs in what will be the game of the week, the same team that blew out the No. 6 ranked Texas A&M Aggies earlier in the day on Saturday.
