The Florida Gators’ offense has been an absolute disaster in Saturday’s game against the Tennessee Volunteers.

Entering the fourth quarter, neither team had found the end zone. The Volunteers held a 9-0 lead mostly in thanks to three interceptions from Jeff Driskel. There were some pundits who expected big things out of Driskel this season for whatever reason and he’s clearly been disappointing so far.

Late in the third quarter, after another punt from the Gators, freshman cornerback sacked Volunteers’ quarterback Justin Worley, forced a fumble and recovered.

When the Gators got the ball back, Jeff Driskel was removed for the game for freshman Treon Harris, who entered the game with two career passes, both going for scores. He completed his first pass against the Volunteers for 12 years, then rushed for 10 yards. Two plays later, Matt Jones scored from two yards out to cut the lead to 9-7.
