The Ohio State Buckeyes had a rough start to this season, but it’s looking like more than a few one-loss teams will make a run at the playoffs this year.

Sitting at 3-1, the Buckeyes are very much still in the hunt to make the postseason and they’re even more so in the hunt to chase a top spot in the Big Ten.
Maryland is still new to the conference but they’re in an even better shape to overthrow Ohio State as a force in the Big Ten. After a 4-1 start, Maryland is fresh off a win over Indiana which has them at 1-0 in conference play.
Needless to say, Ohio State wants this win badly and they’re not doing too bad early on. After a Rod Smith touchdown got the Buckeyes a 7-0 lead, Jalin Marshall got in on the fun and gave Ohio State a 14-0 lead to start things out.
Ohio State is still bitter over their one loss, but they’re still ranked No. 20 in the country and are still in the hunt to win something this year. What that ultimately is will be known later but for now, they’re clearly not giving up anything without a fight.
