Nationals’ fans apparently could not be bothered to stay late into the night for playoff baseball, as many of them left in bunches during a tie game.
The Washington Nationals and San Francisco Giants played one of the tightest and most competitive games of the postseason thus far. It was a thrilling extra innings game with a blown lead in the 9th inning that went late into the night.

Apparently it was too late for some Nationals’ fans. Even if it goes on late, this is the kind of baseball game that should not have empty seats. Postseason baseball is unlike anything else, and it is not often that your home team gets to play these kinds of games.
That is the opinion of many baseball fans. So it is that many baseball fans will be, and should be, annoyed by this photo. As passed along by Jeff Passan of Yahoo! sports:

So yea. Good on you, Nationals fans. Even if this is only some of you, and even if the loyal ones wish they could smack these people, this just isn’t a good look.
