3. Andrew Luck, QB, Indianapolis Colts

In his third season as the Indianapolis Colts’ QB, Andrew Luck is playing like the MVP candidate we all knew he was capable of.

Luck currently ranks No. 1 in the league in passing yards per game (326), touchdowns (13) and yards (1,305). To go with those impressive numbers, Luck is completing nearly 69 percent of his passes and has thrown only four interceptions, which is quite impressive for the league’s leader in passing attempts.

The 25-year-old quarterback is leading an offense that’s put up the most points in the league thus far, and at 2-2, the Colts are very much favorites to take the AFC South reigns.

Luck’s day against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3–which consisted of 370 yards, four touchdowns, zero interceptions and near 80 percent completion percentage–continues to stand out to me as an MVP-like performance.
