Cardinals vs Dodgers live stream information

There was supposed to be a pitcher’s duel on Friday night at Dodger Stadium, with Clayton Kershaw starting for the Dodgers and Adam Wainwright starting for the Cardinals. Instead a high-scoring affair broke out, with the Cardinals coming back and holding on for a 10-9 victory.

Not only was this game a thrilling affair because of unexpected offense, but also because things got heated between these two teams. With a little bit of bad blood dating back to last year’s playoffs and continuing through their series during the regular season, the Cardinals and Dodgers cleared the benches after Adam Wainwright hit Yasiel Puig with a pitch. There was no further incident, but it showed that this is going to be an intense series.

Adrian Gonzalez had the following to say about the pitch that hit Puig: “They’re going to say it’s not on purpose, but we all know it is.” (via Buster Olney). Emotions should be running high for Game 2 on Saturday.
