He participated in pre-practice stretching with his teammates on Saturday before leaving the field for more rehabilitation.
According to the Washington Post, Griffin was in cleats and did agility drills and stretching, adding that he appeared to “jog fairly well.”
Griffin has already been ruled out for Monday night’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, but coach Jay Gruden said earlier this week that there is definitely progress being made.
"“He’s doing a great job and like I said, for whatever injury he has, he’s probably going to recover quicker than the normal human being, faster than anybody probably. So it won’t surprise me when he comes back.“I’m sure it’ll be quicker than normal, but he’s doing everything he can to get right. What that timetable is, I have no idea. Only his body will know and the trainers.”"
Griffin was hurt early in Washington’s Week 2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars after he played the entire game against the Houston Texans in the opener.
For the season, Griffin is 31-for-40 for 305 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. Last season, coming back from a torn ACL, Griffin completed 60.1 percent of his passes for 3,203 yards and 16 touchdowns with 12 picks before being shut down for the final three games.
