The Tigers might have been an unsteady team at times this season, but it still feels surprising that they might be eliminated in such short order. That’s not to short the Orioles on the credit they deserve, but rather to note what a force the Tigers looked like they could be in 2014.
“This is the time to step up,” Tigers’ starter David Price said about Game 3, courtesy of mLive.com. “It’s not easier that you’re down 0-2 as opposed to being up 2-0 but you know what you gotta do. This is the time when you want to be able to step up for your team, for your fan base, for the city of Detroit.”
Bud Norris will start this game for the Orioles as they try to complete the sweep. Price will be on the mound for the Tigers.
