Arian Foster was once a top back in the league, and still is to an extent, but his failure to remain healthy has been a point of frustration the last few seasons.

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster has already missed a game this season, and we’re not even the halfway point of the year yet.

Once again this week, the Texans have been faced with the possibility of playing without their running back, but it appears he’s doing his best to get ready. According to Ian Rapoport from NFL Network, Foster is going to be playing this week despite all of his injury concerns.

This is great news for Texans fans and for fantasy owners who were wondering if Arian Foter would be a go this afternoon.

Even though he’s playing, the fact that Foster is so broken down at this point in his still relatively young career shows just how punishing the position is. Running back isn’t what is used to be, as even the Minnesota Vikings can get by for a while without Adrian Peterson.
