Saturday night the Arizona State Sun Devils were one of many teams that pulled off an upset, defeating the USC Trojans inside the Coliseum in dramatic fashion. The entire upset was capped off as time expired, when wide receiver Jaelen Strong caught a 46-yard Hail Mary touchdown, stunning the Trojan fans in attendance.
Well, for his efforts, Strong has been named the Walter Camp Offensive Player of the week for Week 6 of the college football season.

Now, while it was probably the best play of the craziest weekend of the year, it was just a small portion of Strong’s performance on Saturday night against USC.
That was Strong’s third touchdown reception of the game and he finished the outing with 202 yards on 10 catches total. He was virtually the lifeblood of this offensive output all night, an output that resulted in 541 yards of total offense when all was said and done.
Strong stepped up in a huge way to help his team to victory, especially considering that it was one week after they were blown out at home by the other team from Los Angeles, the UCLA Bruins.
While there were a lot of great performances on Saturday on the offensive side of the ball, the fact is that not many more were as spectacular as what Strong did for the Sun Devils in the upset of USC.
