Well, Week 6 in college football certainly delivered on the hype. With so many match up against ranked teams, we were all pretty sure that there would be some shake ups in the rankings.
Boy, if we only knew what was coming.
The Alabama Crimson Tide, the Oklahoma Sooners and the Texas A&M Aggies were some of the more notable teams to fall on Saturday. All three of these teams were considered legitimate contenders for the national championship down the road. Now, their fate is up in the air.
With that being said, however, there is now the chance for the like of Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Baylor and Auburn to make a serious push in the rankings with their undefeated records.
Not to mention, after a week where everyone was disappointed by them, the Florida State Seminoles may have gotten some respect that.
Whatever the case, the rankings will look mighty different when they’re released on Sunday. With that being said, here is a look at what we could be in store for:
1. Florida State (1)
2. Auburn (2)
3. Baylor (3)
4. Ole Miss (11)
