Five teams in the Top 10 fell, shaking up the landscape of college football as we know it for 2014.
The carnage began on Thursday night when the Oregon Ducks fell at home to the Arizona Wildcats, who now sit atop the Pac-12 Conference. From that point, we could tell that things were going to get out of hand this weekend, more than likely.
Saturday afternoon the shakeup continued when the Mississippi State Bulldogs proved that they are legitimate, demolishing the Texas A&M Aggies. Then, their rivals, the Ole Miss Rebels, took down the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Everything about college football this season is turning out to be some of the wildest stuff we have seen, and the polls will reflect that.
With that being said, here is a look at the new USA TODAY/Amway Coaches Poll Top 10 that was released on Sunday morning:
- Florida State
- Auburn
- Baylor
- Ole Miss
- Notre Dame
- Mississippi State
- Alabama
- Michigan State
- Oklahoma
- Georgia
So the Seminoles were able to reclaim their top spot in the Coaches rankings after the Tide faltered against Ole Miss.
