Eric Decker has played through a hamstring injury for a couple of weeks, but he will not play Sunday as the New York Jets face the San Diego Chargers.
The New York Jets spent a lot of money to bring in receiver Eric Decker as a free agent in the offseason, but a lingering hamstring injury will have him in street clothes Sunday when Gang Green visits the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium.
Decker was listed as questionable on Friday and did not practice as the Jets finished up their preparations for San Diego.

Decker signed a five-year, $36.25 million contract this spring with New York after back-to-back seasons with more than 80 receptions with the Denver Broncos.
Decker has played in each of the Jets first four games, but has been limited since tweaking his hamstring two weeks ago against the Chicago Bears.
He has 14 catches for 204 yards and two touchdowns so far this season. In his two years with Peyton Manning in Denver, Decker had 172 receptions for 2,352 yards and caught 24 touchdown passes.
He was also Tim Tebow’s favorite target in 2011 in Denver, catching 44 balls for 612 yards and eight scores.
Running back Chris Johnson was probable with an ankle injury and is active for Sunday.
