The New Orleans Saints jumped all over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers early on in their Week 5 matchup, but the wheels are flying off. Not only have the Saints surrendered 24 unanswered points, but they’re now without Drew Brees’ biggest target.

More from New Orleans Saints

Jimmy Graham was banged up during the Saints game against the Buccaneers and initially returned to action. He was pulled though and X-rays in the locker room revealed enough information to hold him out for the rest of the game.

This is absolutely huge for the Buccaneers and utterly devastating for the Saints. Without Graham, the Saints offense shrinks considerably as their best play is their patent screen pass, which is now one-dimensional with Graham off the field.
Brees is still a hall of Fame quarterback though, ad he has speedy targets on the field so a comeback isn’t impossible even if Graham won’t be a part of it.
