Pablo Sandoval extends hitting streak

Pablo Sandoval has always been known as a big time postseason player. Sandoval is a two-time World Series Champion, and in 2010, he was named the Most Valuable Player of the World Series. Sandoval has always been decent during the regular season, but he has made his name for helping lead his team to two World Series titles.

Sandoval accomplished yet another feat for his resume during Saturday night’s game against the Washington Nationals. Sandoval extended his post season hitting streak to 13 games and he did so at a huge moment in the game. With his team down to their final out, Sandoval tied the game with a RBI double that broke the hearts of Nationals fans.

The impressive part about Sandoval extending his hit streak wasn’t just getting a hit, it was the magnitude of the moment that he got the hit. The Kung Fu Panda has always been known as a clutch hitter and he lived up to his billing in game two verse the Nationals. With Sandoval on their side, the Giants are in good hands for this postseason and in the future.
