Rams vs Eagles final score: Philly bounces back with win over St. Louis, 34-28
By Jack Crosby
Despite a late surge, the Philadelphia Eagles bounced back from their first loss of the season last weekend to the 49ers this Sunday with a convincing win over the St. Louis Rams, 34-28.
Quarterback Nick Foles finished the game with with 207 yards on 24-of-37 passing with two touchdowns and one interception.
One of the biggest stories out of this one was the resurgence, almost, of LeSean McCoy. After failing to meet a lot of peoples’ expectations throughout the past few weeks, especially last weekend, he finished the win with 81 yards on 24 carries. Not enough to make fantasy football owners happy, but enough to help his team get the win.

The Eagles won this game, though, despite a nice effort by the Rams late in the game to mount a comeback. With two minutes left in the third quarter, the Eagles were up 34-7, but that’s when the Rams began to fight back.
Quarterback Austin Davis, who finished the game with 375 yards and three touchdowns and no interceptions, threw two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter, one to Kenny Britt and another to Brian Quick.
Unfortunately, on the final drive of the game for the Rams, Davis overshot his intended receiver on fourth down with under a minute to go to halt the comeback attempt.
With the win, the Eagles now move to 4-1 on the season and will take on the New York Giants, while the Rams fall to 1-3 on the season and will take on 49ers next Monday night.
