According to Al Iannazzone of New York News Day, Carmelo Anthony would like to return to Team USA for the 2016 Olympics.
"Anthony said he would like to play in his fourth and final Olympics in 2016 in Brazil but acknowledges it’s a long way away. He said Paul George’s devastating foot injury over the summer in a Team USA exhibition game won’t impact his decision"
Carmelo Anthony is obviously an excellent NBA player but he seems to thrive even more in the Olympic setting so it would be great to see him return.
Carmelo Anthony put up 27.4 points, 8.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game and shot 45.2% from the field, 40.2% from beyond the arc and 84.8% from the free throw line last season.
