The Florida Gators cancelled head coach Will Muschamp’s press conference. It is the first time in 21 years that a presser like this has been cancelled so speculation about Will Muschamp’s job, among other things, is running wild.
Florida Gators’ head coach Will Muschamp has been under a lot of scrutiny over the last year.

After going 11-2 in 2012, the Gators went 4-8 last season, Will Muschamp’s third as head coach.
To the surprise of some, the Gators brought Will Muschamp back for a fourth season. The Gators were supposed to be much improved and although they are 3-1, their fans are still growing restless. They opened the season by blowing out the Eastern Michigan. They have a 42-21 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide sandwiched between a 36-30 triple overtime victory over the Kentucky Wildcats and a 10-9 win over the Tennessee Volunteers.
On Monday, the Gators cancelled Will Muschamp’s weekly press conference, leading to plenty of speculation.
In 20-plus years #Gators beat, this is first Monday press conference called off. Used to be Tuesdays. Even had one on 9-11. Not good.

While mystery continues, Muschamp certainly didn't sound Saturday like a coach headed out #Gators door: http://t.co/Qbd4lGRng3

A source close to the situation has confirmed that this does not involve the future of Will Muschamp. Stay tuned for details. #Gators

The speculation of Will Muschamp being fired is just the internet being internet. Would the Gators really fire their coach after they rallied for a 10-9 victory over the Volunteers Monday? That seems very unlikely meaning Jones’ source is probably correct.
