The Dallas Cowboys parted ways with back up quarterback Kyle Orton during the offseason, or he forced his way out depending on who you chose to believe. “The relationship, I’m told, between Kyle Orton and Tony Romo was untenable,” Rapoport told NFL Media’s Rich Eisen on Sunday. “They believed it could not continue, which is one reason that Kyle Orton essentially forced his way out of Dallas and signed with Buffalo as a free agent — a move that coach Doug Marrone initially resisted because they’re paying (Orton) $6 million.”
This isn’t exactly a new report, ESPN’s Ed Werder made a similar report about a week ago at the end of September. The subtle difference between the reports is Werder suggesting there was a power struggle.

Hard to imagine that there was anyone in the Cowboys locker room who preferred Orton over Romo. Orton has now found himself starting over E.J. Manuel for the Buffalo Bills.
