Russell Wilson with the nice scramble
Russell Wilson has been impressive in the opening quarter of the Seattle Seahawks vs. Washington Redskins Monday Night Football match-up. He already has a passing touchdown, but it’s his running game that has worked for him so far. Wilson has rushed five times for 80 yards already. Here’s a 22-yard scramble for a first down on 2nd and 20.
On the Seahawks opening possession, Wilson had two scrambles that amounted to 31 yards before he found wide receiver Jermaine Kearse in the end zone for a 15-yard touchdown to give the Seahawks a 7-0 lead early.

Wilson started off the next Seattle possession with a 13 yard rush, followed by a 22-yarder later in the possession.
Wilson was known as a scrambler at Wisconsin in college, but hasn’t been one to scramble often in the NFL. Now, he’s showing off his speed even with Beast Mode Marshawn Lynch in the backfield.
If Wilson can continue his dominant scrambling, the Seahawks could bust this game wide open and fast.
The defending Super Bowl Champs come into the game against Washington with two tough wins over the Packers and Broncos, but one loss coming from the San Diego Chargers. The Washington Redskins, who are playing without quarterback Robert Griffin III, come into the game 1-3, with their single win coming from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
