Western Michigan players trashed Idaho locker room
Western Michigan players went a bit too far
After Western Michigan defeated Idaho in Moscow, Idaho Sept. 13 45-33, they apparently trashed the Idaho away team locker room so much that they needed to be billed for damage according to reports from the Associated Press.

The team reportedly knocked sinks lose in the locker room, threw trash and clothes all over and broke a trophy among other damage that was done in celebratory fashion after the victory.
The AP was able to get access to emails sent between school officials through a public information request.
In an email from Idaho Athletic Director Rob Spear that sent pictures to Western Michigan athletic director Kathy Beauregard said “a championship track and field plaque was broken and a signed marketing poster from the winning track and field team was torn off the wall and cooked in a microwave along with other items.”
According to the AP, “The emails also indicate a ceiling tile was broken, items were destroyed and stolen from lockers, and one locker was written on. Trash — including food wrappers, cups and banana peels — were strewn across the floor along with dirty towels.”
The damage had Spear billing Western Michigan $500 for clean up and damage repair. Beauregard apologized for the damage and agreed to pay the $500.
The Western Michigan football team is now 2-3 this season and 1-2 since they decided to have a little too much fun in a locker room that wasn’t theirs. They’re lucky Idaho didn’t bill them more and take it up with the NCAA.
Irony alert: Idaho’s nickname is the “Vandals.”
