St. Louis Cardinals’ pitcher Adam Wainwright would start a potential game 5 in Los Angeles against the Dodgers.
Although the St. Louis Cardinals are concerned about Adam Wainwright, their ace would start a potential game 5 against the Los Angeles Dodgers if there is one. The Cardinals are hoping that a game 5 isn’t needed, but if it is, it is a comfort boost knowing that your ace will be ready to go.

Adam Wainwright had a terrific regular season, but much like Dodgers’ ace Clayton Kershaw, Wainwright has struggled in his only postseason start. If Kershaw can lead the Dodgers to a game 4 victory in St. Louis over the Cardinals, the series will come down to a game 5 in Los Angeles between Zach Greinke and Adam Wainright.
That pitching duel would be one for the ages. Whichever pitcher performed better would win the baseball game. However, anything can happen and that was proven in game one of this series. Clayton Kershaw and Adam Wainwright faced off in what was expected to be a pitchers duel. It turned out being a barn burner and hitting was the difference in the game.
The Cardinals are ready to play in a game 5 if necessary and their ace is ready to get vengeance as well. Playing in a game 5 on the road is never easy, but the Cardinals are fortunate enough to have Adam Wainwright on their side in the heat of the battle.
